This workshop is for all levels of fiber artists. Beginners welcome.

We will be wet felting a great wool pod for your cat (or other pet) to play or nap in. We’ll be using blow-up punch balls to create the shape and lots of soapy water to felt layers of wool roving to create a nice, thick, round pod.

An optimal hideout for your cat provides warmth, security, and comfort. The cave shape pet pod provide 360-degree coverage for your feline friend!  With a special hiding space/shelter all its own, your cat can enjoy privacy and a little alone time in this cozy cave pet house. Feeling warm and protected, snuggling in a cat cave bed can help reduce stress, boosting health and well-being.  All while you learn the great technique of wet felting in 3-D and all of the tips and tricks from a professional fiber artist that will make your class FUN and want to hear every story about your cat!

You pod shelter will measure approximately 38″ in diameter with an 18″ opening but can be customized to your own needs.

Kits will be mailed out a week before the workshop. USA Shipping is included in the price, please inquire for international shipping fee.

Your kit will include:

• 18 oz Wool in total
  • 9 oz inside 3 layers
  • 9 oz wool for decorative top 3 layers
• 3 punch ball balloons (deflated)
• 1 felting needle and foam combo

You supply: liquid dish detergent, a spray bottle, towels, and your best pet stories.
